Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andre Reed will attend the Stampede game on April 28 against the Tri-State RedHawks, team officials announced on Wednesday.

A private meet-and-greet for Stampede corporate partners and season ticket holders will take place from 4:45-5:15 pm in the lower level of the Equine Arena at the PA Farm Show prior to the game.

Reed will also be promoting his Over the Middle barbecue sauce. Some proceeds from sales of the product benefit the Kids Escaping Drugs Campaign in western New York. Reed played 15 seasons with the Buffalo Bills and ranks tenth in NFL history in career receptions with 951.

"We really want to make this a memorable weekend for Andre, the Stampede and especially the fans," said Stampede general manager and head coach Bernie Nowotarski in a statement. Nowotarski and Reed were college teammates at Kutztown University.

The team says Reed will also make a public appearance and sign autographs at the Harrisburg Mall on game day, as well; from 12 pm to 2 pm. Tickets for Reed's mall event are $25, which includes an autograph from Reed and one game ticket.

The story has been updated to include details of Reed's appearance at Harrisburg Mall.
