City Islanders game-used jerseys up for auction

The City Islanders are auctioning off special game-worn, red, white and blue jerseys from this Saturday's game on Military Appreciation Night.

According to the team, proceeds from the auction will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps injured servicemen and women and to provides unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. Starting bid for each jerseys is $50.00 and bidding will be done in $5.00 increments.

Bidding started on Monday, July 2 and will end on Tuesday, July 10.

Harrisburg will also auction off special pink, game-worn jerseys later this month in support of breast cancer awareness. Same bidding rules apply and the auction will start on July 25. Bidding ends on July 31 at noon.

Fans not attending those games may bid by emailing the City Islanders (717-441-4625) at jerseyauction-at-cityislanders-dot-com.
