The Harrisburg City Islanders are hosting a one-day open tryout on October 20, 2012 at Lower Dauphin Middle School.

The tryout will include a technical session and scrimmage.

“This will be the first of a few open tryouts that we’ll have for the 2013 season," said City Islanders head coach Bill Becher in a statement. "We’ve always had success of finding quality players for our squad. Last season, three players who came to our open tryouts made the 2012 team."

Players may register by visiting the City Islanders website, www.cityislanders.com. The fee for the tryout is $60.

Lower Dauphin Middle School is located on 251 Quarry Road in Hummelstown.
