Two former field hockey Olympians will be in Dauphin County this weekend for two clinics benefiting a local family that is still recovering from last year's flooding.

Hummelstown — Two former Olympians, Laurel Hershey Martin (1996 Olympics) and Christy Morgan (1988 Olympics), will be in Hummelstown this weekend to participate in a benefit clinic hosted by the Lower Dauphin Field Hockey Booster Club to help a local field hockey family impacted by the Tropical Storm Lee in 2011.
In addition to Martin and Morgan, the Clinic will have several Division I, II, III college coaches, referees and college players participating in the Field Hockey Clinic.
All of the proceeds from the Clinic, raffle baskets and concession will go directly to the Gaudette Family. The Gaudette family has been actively involved in field hockey for over 30 years.
“Coach Bill” and his wife Ann Gaudette had four daughters who played for Lower Dauphin, Ann is a field hockey official and their son Billy is the starting goalie for the LA Galaxy professional soccer team. In addition, Bill Gaudette is the founder and director of East Coast Field Hockey.
