Baseball season is right around the corner.
Millersville University is conducting three days of camps and clinics this winter, beginning with the mini-winter clinics on Jan. 28.
The camps are great opportunity for youngsters to learn from Marauders head coach Jon Shehan, one of the top young coaches in the country.

Millersville, Pa. – Fresh off last season's NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship, the Millersville baseball team is giving youngsters and high school baseball players a chance to learn from the best. The Marauders have rolled out three days of camps and clinics this winter, beginning with the mini winter clinics on Jan. 28.
The first day of offseason instructional camps is Jan. 28, when the Marauders will host four separate clinics at Brooks Hall. The clinics will be broken into mini-infield, hitting, pitching and catching clinics. These clinics are open to students from grades 7-12. Each camp will focus on the individualized aspects of the skills being shown.
Participants are encouraged to sign up quickly, as space is limited. The infield and pitching clinics are limited to the first 20 applicants, while the hitting clinic is limited to the first 30 applicants. The catching clinic is limited to the first 10 applicants. The infield clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will be followed by the hitting clinic, which will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The pitching and catching clinics both run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost of the Marauders mini winter clinics is $50.
The second date of the Marauders' winter clinics is the Preseason Youth Clinic on Sat. Feb 18. This clinic is limited to ages 6-12 and takes place at the Student Memorial Center at Millersville, running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Youth that attend this camp will have the opportunity to work on all different skills from pitching and catching to throwing progressions and base-running drills. The cost to attend this clinic is also $50.
The final camp the Marauders host will be the Preseason Exposure Camp one day after the Preseason Youth Clinic on Feb. 19. This camp is open to grades 7-12 and runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at both the Student Memorial Center and Brooks Hall. It is limited to the first 40 applicants and gives players the opportunity to gain exposure for the next level.
