The York Revolution is the champions of the Atlantic League.

Where is the team headed next?

No, not Disney World.

Try Sugar Land, Texas -- and you can join the Revs on their very, very long road trip.

York has announced its sending four lucky fans to the Houston suburb to watch the Revolution take on the Atlantic League’s newest member – the Sugar Land Skeeters – in the first four games of the 2012 season.

Here's information on the contest, per the Revolution:

York, Pa. -- As they said in the film Bull Durham, “Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes, it rains.” That’s true, and one other thing is for certain: the York Revolution’s first game of 2012 will not get snowed out.

In conjunction with Stroehmann: Pennsylvania Dutch Bakers, Maier’s and Weis Markets the Revolution have announced they are sending four lucky fans to the Houston suburb of Sugar Land, Texas as York takes on the Atlantic League’s newest member – the Sugar Land Skeeters – in the first four games of the season. There are two grand prizes, for two fans each.

The Skeeters will be christening brand new Constellation Field. The all expenses paid trip includes airfare for two from BWI Airport to Houston, six nights of hotel accommodations at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square and two tickets to each of the four games of the opening series of the 2012 season.

The entire trip will last from April 24 to April 30, and the grand prize winners will fly to and from Texas with the Revolution.

“It’s new territory in our league for us to open the season so far from home, and this contest ensures that they’re at least four more Revolution fans will be there,” said Revolution Vice President Neil Fortier. “This will create some great memories for whoever is lucky enough to win, and hopefully the Revolution win those four games as well.”

Becoming eligible to win could not be easier. Fans may enter by purchasing any Stroehmann or Maier’s product at a Weis Market in York or Adams County, using their Weis Preferred Shoppers Club Card or enter by mail. (To enter by mail, please visit YorkRevolution.com for the details). It’s that easy – merely enjoying one of Stroehmann’s or Maier’s many fine products automatically enters fans to win.

“There are so many people who enjoy our products that also enjoy Revolution baseball, this is a great marriage,” said Jim Carr of Stroehmann’s. “It’s a great promotion to get fans excited for the season, and make that Revolution cheering section even larger in Texas.”
