Don't tell me she got away with this, i am horrified. No wonder there is so much disgusting animal abuse in the states if a vet, an expert and the SPCA think this is ok. Bestiality, neglect and beatings just seem the norm and the state condone it, I feel for any animal lover who lives there having to witness sickening things like this daily and no one doing anything about it. Did everyone watch a different video to the one i watched or something as i clearly witnessed abuse, twisting of necks and a beating. Im in the UK and a vet or trained groomer would do this procedure. So many of them suffering from the same condition? She has clearly not been trained to do this as you can see from the video it looks like shes hurting the dogs and using force. I find it hard to believe any vet or expert would condone this and not press for charges. Why is she allowed to have so many dogs some with special needs. I hope the rescues removed them from her care and stop her getting any more. Sickening and shameful sums this story up, beat your rescue dogs, twist their necks even the ones with problems then stick your fingers up their Bums to do a procedure which could potentially hurt and harm them. Maybe if she wasn't allowed so many dogs she would have some extra $$ to look after them properly and have the procedures carried out by someone trained to do so. Im surprised so many people cant see any thing wrong with this and think the neighbor should mind her own business, believe me if i witnessed this in the UK i would be straight on the phone to the authorities and i wouldn't rest until she was charged, the dogs removed and a ban on keeping any animals put in place. Just about reinforces everything i have witnessed on animal welfare in the states, turn a blind eye and treat dogs how you like, chain them up, rape, starve and beat them. When your finished hand them in to a kill shelter to be gassed or given the needle then off to the local store to get yourself a brand new pup ugh

I agree. It's a double standard. However, it's not the first, nor is it the last. 50 Shades of Grey is a fad that gained popularity because of the relative anonymity of the E-book industry. Once publishers saw how popular the series was, they decided to publish it in book form. The book has been a best seller long before the physical book was released for sale. I disagree with with your assessment that the book is the most explicit. There are plenty of other books with graphic details that have been best sellers. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is graphic. So was Sleep no More. What is a first, is that an erotic romance centered around the BDSM culture has made it there. That culture is what has made the book such a firestorm. The book is written for adults. If booksellers want to restrict buyers to the over 18 crowd, that's fine by me. What I have a problem with is the people calling for the banning of the book. I disagree with the efforts to censor just because some people are uncomfortable with sexual content and alternative lifestyles. There is always personal choice in life. People that disapprove of the book do not have to buy it, borrow it from their library or read it. But taking away another person's choice is unacceptable.

It is true that there seems to be double standards everywhere, one standard for women and one standard for men, one standrad for whites and one standard for minorities, even one standard for the well connected and one for the not so well connected. I once made a blog post on the Tea Party's facebook page about double standards. It was when everone was getting in an uproar about a pastor in Florida planning on burning a Koran in protest of Islam. Betwwen Googel, Yahoo, and Youtube, I found over one million articles and videos about people protesting Christianity by burning bibles. Now, don't get me wrong, I find it vary rude to burn any religious text regardless of which religion, but it shows a double standard if anyone can burn a bible and never get any flock for it, but one person who threatens to burn a koran gets all kinds of grief.

If this even makes it to court I will be tramatized and will need to seek proffesional care. I will be forced to sue Mr. Battie for $2,000,000,000 for my loss of hope there is still intellegence in the state of New Jersey. This will cause me severe mental anguish.

Anybody with a doze arrests should be kept off the streets. I know this is America but there should be an island somewhere where these theives can go live, and not on the taxpayers tab like jail.
