Thank you Susquhanna for having so much care and compassion for your students.Of course the almighty dollar seems to be standing in the way of the health and well beign of those intrusted to your care

I would like to thank CBS21 and Tanya Foster for bringing the heroic story of Dennis Haines to the public on this Veteran's Day, forty-one years after Dennis was wounded. His experience is one of the true "I am an American" and "I will never give up" sagas that we so long for now, and with that attitude he achieved a brilliant career at Hershey Medical Center Development and Planning, without being able to drive a car, walk, or see out of one side of his visual field. It was Our pleasure to have been put at the right place at the right time, in VietNam, and now to be among his dearest friends. John N. itssuchashame people are concerned about homeless humans. Remember Barons owner is HOMELESS

It’s total BS! Give the man back Baron and be done with it NOW! Baron should have never been taken in the first place. If the Humane Society of Harrisburg wanted to help this man, they would have offered him food and vet care for Baron. Instead, they took a mans “friend” from him. I say he sues they for undue stress and gets a settlement Baron & he can live on for the rest of their lives in comfort. I know that most rescues try to do right by the animals. But some, like the this one, who drive around “company” cars that are fit for business men and dine at fancy eateries, need to be investigated. We donate money to HELP animals not to line the pockets or the bellies of the workers of these said facilities.

Someone should check out Phoenix Park along the Harrisburg Greenbelt. Very icky. The same behavior going on all hours, every day.

This absolutely infuriates me! Who do these people think they are....they are behaving like a gestapo!!! I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER adopt an animal from this shelter. My heart aches for that poor man. I am caring for my daughters dogs while she is serving our country in Iraq and it breaks her heart to leave them. I can only imagine what it must be like for this man--that dog is all he has.

Way to go County Commisioners. Nice job advertising this activity. Now, the perverts that weren't aware of this situation are well informed. I'm sure you'll see an increase in activity. hahahehehaha

I rather find a dog with mange in some back alley and take it home rather than do any business with the Humane Society. Obviously they don't realize how much negative publicity they have earned from trying to prove some stupid point. They deserve the bad rep they are getting from this easily fixable situation.
