Tight supplies do to oil company manipulations. How convenient that several refineries close at the same time for "repair" shutting down refining operations. Just when people are beginning to see a faint light at the end of the economic tunnel, big oil greed sets in and destroyes what hope there was.

If the veterans want to go out with their buddies to a ball game & have a few beers..THEY ARE SLANDERED AS "STREET-GUTTER ALCOHOLICS" and THROWN BACK TO THE STREETS...all while the people who run the program are in the American Legion clubs DRINKING THE NIGHT AWAY...

See how they described their housing program as "SAFE"; what that means is the veterans are placed in PRISON-LIKE & ALL-CONTROLLING conditions with 24/7 baby-sitting of the veterans; it doesn't mean the veterans are in a safe neighborhoods.

Lewis Butts doesn't have a drivers license, and is vandalizing yard signs, and he thinks he's mayor material?? Wow! Maybe there is someone less qualified than Linda Thompson. . .

I'm ok with pre-empting the show due to current events, provided CBS airs the finale at a later date. If they have simply pulled the show forever, I find this to be in bad taste.

Those of you want change in the way business is conducted in the HBG city government, tomorrow is your chance to have your say.Get out and vote. If you are satisfied with the way things are going then just stay home and let someomne else make the choices for you. But remember this, you have no right to complain about the way things turned out if you don,t get out and vote.

Is this our best example of "Leadership" for Harrisburg? Is it any wonder why kids have such a disrespect for Authority? If this guys is allowed to keep his name on the ballot, that will be an even bigger crime. It is time to deal harshly with adults that are in positions of "leadership". Time to bring back public flogging instead of jail time. Three squares and a cot is not punishment, it has NO determent to stop crime so far.

The Commonwealth cannot afford the proposition of another four years of decline under Tom Corbett. Corbett chose to give tax breaks to his corporate donors (esp. in the oil industry) whom, in turn, he had hoped would use their billions in profits to spur economic growth in Pennsylvania. This did not, is not and will not happen. Responsibilty to the shareholders as well as ensuring million dollar bonuses come first for the corporate elite. Slashing funding for education, health care and other services to the citizenry also comes first for Governor Tom Corbett!! Governor Tom Corbett cannot and should not be re-elected.
