York Catholic, Red Lion to meet again for YAIAA girls' title

DALLASTOWN - York Catholic defeated West York 49-35 in the tournament semifinals and will meet Red Lion Saturday in a rematch of last year's YAIAA final.

Morgan Klunk of the Irish led all scorers with 22 points. York Catholic is the defending tournament champion. Saturday's final is at York College at 7 p.m.

Olivia Manges had 11 points for West York, which trailed by nine at halftime.

Red Lion topped Eastern York, 59-50, in the other semifinal at Dallastown High School. Jen Horvatinovic and Erica Maciejewski each had 18 points for the Lions.
