Flying Squirrels beat rain, Senators' Rosenbaum 6-3

HARRISBURG -- The Richmond Flying Squirrels scored four runs in the fifth inning Sunday to defeat the Harrisburg Senators 6-3 in six innings at Metro Bank Park.

The game was called after a 47-minute rain delay.

Richmond knocked out Eastern League All-Star left-hander Danny Rosenbaum in the fifth. A fielding error by first baseman Tim Pahuta allowed to Flying Squirrels to score and Richmond later took a 6-1 lead on a single by Mark Minicozzi.

Harrisburg came back with two in the fifth when Brian Goodwin tripled in Jonny Tucker; Goodwin later scored on Sean Nicol's second hit of the game.

The Senators drop to 55-60 on the season. Richmond improves to 57-58.
