GEFA's Mt. Joy Cyclones hosting autism awareness game
The Mount Joy Cyclones of the Great Eastern Football Association (GEFA) are hosting a special Autism Awareness game on Saturday, June 9 against the Elizabethtown Mustangs.
The Cyclones will be hosting some local children living with autism at the final home game of the season. The Mustangs are Mt. Joy's cross-town rival.
The game begins at 3 p.m at 275 Lakeside Crossing (The Lakes) in Mount Joy.
The Great Eastern Football Association also includes the Harrisburg Sharks, which recently held a benefit game for Rob Marrero, who was paralyzed last season during a GEFA game.
The Cyclones (4-5) are in third place in the GEFA's Valley Conference - West; Elizabethtown (7-2) is in second place in the same division.
