HARRISBURG -- The Toronto Blue Jays have signed former Harrisburg Senator Vladimir Guerrero to a minor-league deal, reports Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

The veteran slugger has signed a minor league contract and will join the organization's extended spring training program, according to Rosenthal.

Guerrero, 37, spent last season with the Baltimore Orioles. He hit .290 with 13 home runs and 63 RBIs.

Toronto was reportedly interested in signing the veteran outfielder this winter when he was a free agent.

Guerrero has spent time with the Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Texas Rangers and the Orioles over his 16-year career.
