SHIPPENSBURG -- Football season is the busiest season for Central Penn Piranha owner and head coach Ron Kerr.

Not only is Kerr preparing for the Gridiron Developmental Football League playoffs, he's also in his second season as an assistant at Shippensburg University.

“You know with Central Penn you can only practice once a week so we’re not as focused on the teaching,” said Kerr, who coaches the offensive line for the Raiders. “When you’re here its teaching and film study and it’s a whole lot more technical at Shippensburg."

That one day during the week can be tough on Kerr, though.

After practice at Shippensburg, he'll rush to the Piranha's night practice at In the Net in Lebanon County. He is also a Deputy Sheriff with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s office.

Kerr, a member of the Minor League Football Hall of Fame, doesn't mind his busy schedule, however.
