Top seeds advance in District 3 lacrosse playoffs

HARRISBURG -- Cumberland Valley won each of its District III lacrosse playoff games on Tuesday at Eagle View Middle School; while top-seeded Hershey defeated Warwick in boys' action, 10-7.

The Cumberland Valley boys' team, seeded sixth, narrowly topped Northern York, 6-4. In girls' action, the #3 Eagles defeated #14 Lower Dauphin, 22-16.

Hershey's girls squad lost to 12th-seeded Penn Manor, 12-9, however.
