Piranha takes down Hampton Roads, remains unbeaten

ENOLA -- The Central Penn Piranha scored 34 unanswered points in a 34-8 win Saturday over previously unbeaten Hampton Roads at East Pennsboro High School.

Wide receiver Darren Echols scored a pair of touchdowns, including a 31-yard hook-up from quarterback Mark Jarmon in the second quarter after the Redskins took an 8-0 lead.

Central Penn (10-0) remains unbeaten and earns a first-round bye in the Gridiron Developmental Football League playoffs. The 2012 GDFL National Championship game will be played at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. on October 13.

Jarmon completed 5-11 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns. His other scoring pass was a 27-yard strike in the second quarter to Hassan Brockman.
