YORK -- Lancaster County Christian won a District 3-A championship Wednesday after beating Camp Hill 10-3 at Sovereign Bank Stadium.
Lancaster County Christian took the lead for good in the third when Blake Petersheim stroked a base hit to right, scoring Evan Geib to make the score 4-3.
Camp Hill had a 3-1 advantage after a two-run throwing error by LCCS and a sacrific fly from Michael Hope.
The district championship is the first for Lancater County Christian's baseball team.
In Class AAAA, Cedar Crest easily defeated Central Dauphin 15-2 in five innings the district semifinals at Wenger Field. A Zach Smith single in the second scored Garrett Getz to give the Falcons a 5-1 advantage.
