LONG POND, Pa. - Rain has ruined Saturday's ARCA Racing Series schedule.
The Pennsylvania ARCA 125 -- with three local drivers included -- will now be held tomorrow following the conclusion of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, a result of consistent, heavy rain in the area.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.; after completing 17 of 50 laps today before the rain over the track started. NASCAR officials displayed the red flag just after 1:40 p.m. Today's ARCA Racing Series event had been scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
Lebanon's Kyle Martel will start 20th on Sunday, while Bobby Gearhart of Lebanon qualified one spot behind Martel and will begin in the 21st spot. Don Thompson from Carlisle earned a provisional spot and will start 36th.
The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards has crowned an ARCA national champion each year since its inaugural season in 1953, and has toured over 200 race tracks in 28 states since its inception.
