NEWBERRYTOWN, Pa. – York’s Carl Billet won the 25-lap Late Model feature event Saturday at Susquehanna Speedway Park for his 55th career late model win at the track.
Doug Bennett of Chambersburg scored his first street stock feature of 2012; while Chad Stine of York was victorious in the Xtreme Stock Car feature event. York Haven’s Daryl Sipe bested the field in the Road Warriors with Butch Richcreek, also from York Haven, winning the Pro Sign and Design Mini Van feature.
Marysville’s Scott Houdeshell won the Legends Cars 20-lapper.
In Late Model action, Chase Billet grabbed the early lead from the pole position; but his uncle, Carl Billet took the lead on lap 10. After a few caution flag periods, Carl Billet retained the lead over Chase Billet to win the feature.
Bennett grabbed the early lead of the 20-lap Street Stock feature and never looked in the rear view mirror to claim the victory.
Stine wired the field from the start to win the 20-lap Xtreme Stock Car feature event over Johnny Palm. Sipe won the 15-lap Road Warriors feature event by leading every lap of the race. The 10-lap Pro Signs & Design Mini Van feature event began with Anthony Roberts grabbing the early lead; but Roberts relinquished the lead on lap 3 to Butch Richcreek who went on to win the race over Roberts.
Houdeshell led from start to finish, as well, claiming the 20-lap Legends Cars feature event.
