MECHANICSBURG -- Carlisle's Frankie Herr won the Blazer's Auto Body Super Sportsman feature Saturday night at Williams Grove.

Herr won for the second time this season by eight car lengths over Scott Geesey, Dave Berkheimer, Carmen Perigo Jr., and Mike Enders.

Pole-sitter LeRoy Martin dropped out of the race with mechanical problems on lap four, giving Herr the lead.

The race came to a halt on lap nine when Steve Wilbur and Jay Fannasy, running fourth and sixth, respectively, made contact in turn one. The two cars went into several hard flips. Fannasy was stunned but able to exit his car. Wilbur was unconscious for a few moments and was transported to Hershey Medical Center as a precautionary measurement.

After the restart, Herr continued to set the pace with Geesey in pursuit.

Despite a late caution, Herr controlled the race.
