NEWBERRYTOWN -- Don Kreitz Jr. of Sinking Spring and Etters' Pat Cannon won the final sprint car events of the season Saturday at Susquehanna Speedway Park.

Both drivers won The Final Showdown races for the second straight year.

Kreitz Jr. moved from tenth place to second on lap 23, behind Danny Dietrich, and took the lead on lap 29 of the Super Sprint Car feature.

Before the checkered could be thrown, however, a red flag was dropped setting up a one-lap shootout. At the finish, Krietz held on for the win over Dietrich.

Greg Hodnett finished third with Brent Marks and Mark Smith rounding out the top five.

Ryan Greth led the 20-lap 358 sprint car feature until on lap 4; he jumped the cushion and Cannon, last year's Showdown winner, scooted by to take the lead. He lead the final 15 laps to take the win over pole-sitter Josh Beard.

Doug Hammaker finished third; Matt Horst took fourth place on the final lap from Billy Pauch Jr., who settled for fifth.
