New Cumberland's Bob Bennett grabbed the lead at the start of Saturday's 25-lap feature at Port Royal and won wire-to-wire. Bennett won for the first time at Port Royal; he'd been trying for two decades.

Last Wednesday at Grandview Speedway, Josh Weller held off Trevor Lewis to nail down a United Racing Company feature win. Brett Schonley of Emmaus landed upside down after a crash, but was able to walk away from the wreck.

Jimmy Siegel started ninth Saturday at Lincoln but passed Bobby Weaver early in the race of his first feature victory of the season. Josh Wells took a spill during a heat race; however, his crew made some repairs to the vehicle and Wells claimed a spot in the main feature through a consolation race.

Siegel showed off his little son, Jude, following his victory.

Friday night's racing program at Williams Grove Speedway was rained out. After rain had fallen for much of the day with more in the forecast, the decision to cancel the open cockpit double header featuring sprint cars and 358 c.i. sprints had to be made.

This was the 9th weather-related cancellation at Williams Grove this season.

Williams Grove Speedway will host the Cleveland Brothers Summer Nationals sanctioned by the World of Outlaws on Friday and Saturday evenings, July 24-25. Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 7:45 and a fireworks display will be presented both nights.

Saturday night's sprint car feature winner will earn $20,000.
