Greg Hodnett won the first, but Daryn Pittman got the next two to take the Jack Gunn Memorial title in the Triple 20s for sprint cars Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway.

In the first feature Hodnett was on the pole for the original start, but was moved back a row for taking off early. Brian Leppo then came off the pole to take the early lead before Donnie Kreitz took over with an inside move through turn four on lap three. Hodnett got by Leppo on lap 12 and one lap later drove by Kreitz on the inside exiting turn four.

Once in front Hodnett rolled to his fourth win of the season making him the speedway's leading feature winner in 2009. It was the 41st of his career at the Grove. Kreitz settled for second with Leppo third. Todd Shaffer was fourth and Mark Smith completed the top five ahead of Lance Dewease, Brian Montieth, Alan Krimes, Aaron Ott and Daryn Pittman.

The top ten finishers were inverted for feature number two with Pittman on the pole. The ex-Outlaw from Owasso, Oklahoma, took the lead at the start with Ott second and Montieth third.

Montieth moved into the runnerup spot on lap four and began to chase the leader. Montieth closed rapidly during the last two laps. He made two bids for the lead including a last ditch effort on the final corner which fell a scant 0.147 short.

Dewease, Smith, Ott, Fred Rahmer, Krimes, Hodnett, Kreitz and Cody Darrah completed the top ten.

Pittman started fifth in the nightcap and was up to third on the first lap. He took second place when Kreitz headed pitside on lap six, then grabbed the lead from Smith on a seventh lap restart by sliding across the track between turns one and two.

Once in front Pttman managed to hold off Smith and third-place Montieth to score his fifth career win at Williams Grove and pushed his earnings for the night to $7800. Hodnett was fourth. Fred Rahmer came from the tenth starting spot to complete the top five. Darrah came from 12th to finish sixth just inches behind Rahmer. Dewease, Shaffer, Kevin Nouse and Leppo completed the top ten.

At Trail Way, Mike Bittinger held off Jeff Rohrbaugh and Billy Dietrich to win Friday's 25-lap feature.

On Saturday, Shawn Weaver claimed his first career sprint car victory at Lincoln. Paul Miller won the super sportsman race.

Fred Rahmer finally scored his first victory of the season in sprint car competition at Williams Grove Speedway by winning the 25-lap Billy Kimmel Memorial Sunday night.

Rick Barr became the first repeat winner in super sportsman competition and Cory Haas won the 20-lap 358 c.i. sprint feature.

Rahmer's victory didn't come easily. He started eighth in the 24-car field and didn't crack the top five until lap nine.

Steve Buckwalter took the early lead and set a blistering pace until mechanical problems sent him to the pits on lap ten giving the lead to Alan Krimes.

Rahmer came from fourth to second on a tenth lap restart and began to chase the leader. The winning move came when Rahmer drove through the middle of turns one and two and took the lead on the backstretch.

He earned $3570 including lap and bonus money for his 80th career win at Williams Grove Speedway.

Rahmer also extended a remarkable skein to 20 consecutive winning years at the Grove, a streak that started in 1990.
