MECHANICSBURG, Pa. -- Rain has forced the cancellation of Friday night’s Outlaw Tune-up at Williams Grove Speedway.

The 358-sprint makeup feature will be added to the card on October 7. A complete program of sprint car and 358 racing will be presented along with the 358 feature which was originally rained out on September 4.

Williams Grove Speedway will host National Open weekend on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1. Both nights will be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws. Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 7:30 each night and will include time trials, heats, a dash and a B-main. Friday night’s feature will pay $8,000 to win and Saturday night’s 49th annual National Open will be worth $50,000.

The 2011 racing season will come to an end at Williams Grove on Saturday, October 22, with the running of Fall Fest, a features-only invitational for sprint cars, 358-sprints, super sportsman cars and 358-late models.
