The Living Legends Dream Race at Port Royal Speedway scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to rain. A track official said rain had already deposited over an inch of water on the grounds and they believe more is on the way.

The speedway still hopes to honor living legends Keith Kauffman and Walt Dyer at a later date.

Shawn Brouse of PRS Promotions said the decision to call off the race was done as early as possible, since officials knew a large number of fans and event contributors would be coming from hours away.

The speedway returns to action on August 13 with 410 sprints, late models, 305 sprints and the Deryl Stong Memorial for pro stocks at 7:30 PM. It will be also York County Racing Club Night.
