Billet clinches SSP late model championship; Knaub wins feature

NEWBERRYTOWN -- Carl Billet claimed his seventh late model track championship with a sixth place finish and Dover's Gene Knaub collected his second consecutive feature win Saturday at Susquehanna Speedway Park.  

Knaub took the 25-lap late model victory over Randy Christine Jr.

Enola’s Kody Lehman won the PA Sprint Series 20-lap main. 

 Jim Palm, Jr. of Loysville won his first feature of the season claiming the Street Stock race. Randy Zechman took the runner-up spot at the end to claim his second Street Stock track championship in three years.

Lancaster’s Donnie Broderick won his third Xtreme Stock Car feature of the season. Patrick McClane finished in the runner-up spot and clinched his first SSP Xtreme Stock Car Track Championship.

Carlisle’s Curt McDade led all 15 laps of the Road Warrior feature and earned his first track title.
