Williams Grove cancels Friday's season opener

MECHANICSBURG -- Williams Grove Speedway has canceled its home opener on Friday due to the extreme cold.

The track has rescheduled its opener for Friday, March 29. The event will include the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars and the super sportsman division. It will be the first area show of the season for the sportsman cars.

The Tool Shed of America 358 sprints, originally scheduled for Friday, will now start the season on Friday, April 12.

The Williams Grove Saturday Series opens on Saturday, April 20.
