HARRISBURG -- Danny Lansanah was more than just a football player in high school.

He also played forward for Harrisburg High's 2002 state championship basketball team and was recognized as CBS 21 News' High School Athlete of the Week on February 10, 2003.

The 27-year-old played for the Las Vegas Locos of the United Football League this fall, until the league ceased operations in October.

He played five games for the Green Bay Packers in 2008.

Lansanah starred at linebacker for UConn, leading the Huskies in tackles three straight seasons.
