YORK -- Lancaster crossed the plate a whopping ten times in the third inning Friday in a 17-6 victory over York at Sovereign Bank Stadium. It's the fourth largest inning allowed in Revs history.

Kody Kirkland ignited the Lancaster onslaught with a solo homer to left, part of a four-RBI night.

Francisco Hernandez added a two-run single to left, chasing Revs starter Chris Waters (2-3), who was eventually tagged with eight runs in 2.1 innings in his roughest start with the team. Fehlandt Lentini reached on a bases-loaded walk by reliever Omar Javier to add to the lead, before back-to-back run-scoring infield hits by Blake Gailen and Tommy Everidge. A throwing error by catcher Salomon Manriquez on Everidge’s swinging bunt allowed another run to cross.

Kirkland then smacked a two-run double to the gap in right-center, and Emerson Frostad yanked a run-scoring double down the right field line to finish off the run barrage.

Lancaster scored twice more in the fourth on a bases-loaded walk to Gailen and a double play hit into by Everidge.

Gun control has become an overwhelming focus of many in the U.S.  Pro-gun supporters say guns aren't the problem, people are; while anti-gun proponents say eliminating guns will eliminate most crime and violence.
