YORK -- The first-ever game of the inaugural Big 26 Baseball Classic at Sovereign Bank Stadium has been rained out.
Friday's game will now be played as part of a Saturday doubleheader, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The stadium's gates open at 2 p.m., allowing fans to see the Classic's skills showcase.
The Big 26 Baseball Classic is a series of games featuring rising seniors (Class of 2013) from Pennsylvania and Maryland. The classic is organized by The Big 33 Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
Sunday's game will be played at Metro Bank Park in Harrisburg at 6:15 p.m.
