Grimes' walk-off hit lifts York past Long Island 4-3

YORK -- Scott Grimes knocked a two-run single into left field in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the York Revolution a 4-3 walk-off victory over the Long Island Ducks.

Grimes ripped the game-winning single into left field, scoring Chris Nowack and Jeff Fiorentino; Fiorention slid into home plate safely, just beating the throw from left fielder Kraig Binick.

Long Island took a 3-2 lead in the ninth on a Binick RBI single up the middle.

York has now won a season-best six games in a row.
