Newberrytown, Pa. – Don Kreitz Jr. of Sinking Spring won The Final Showdown at Susquehanna Speedway Park on Saturday; while Pat Cannon claimed the feature for the 358s.

From the pole position, Aaron Ott grabbed the early lead with Chad Layton going from 5th to the runner-up spot on the start. Layton took the lead from Ott on the third circuit. Layton led until lap 11 when Kreitz Jr. took the top spot as the two entered lapped traffic. Kreitz never looked back to record the 30-lap feature victory.

Fred Rahmer made a late race charge to finish in the runner-up spot. Cody Darrah came from an 11th place starting spot to finish third.

The fastest car on the track to challenge Kreitz at the end was Danny Dietrich who made it to second place, but fell to fourth at the end with tire issues. Greg Hodentt rounded out the top five. Heat race wins went to Curt Michael, Aaron Ott.

Cole Duncan won the consolation event.

Aaron Ott started on the pole for the 20-lap 358 Sprint Car feature and led the first 17 laps. Meanwhile, Pat Cannon made his way from sixth to the runner-up spot and challenged Ott on the seventeenth circuit. Coming out of turn four with three laps to go, Ott spun by himself, relinquishing the lead to Cannon.

Cannon went on to take the victory over Dale Hammaker and Logan Schuchart. Mark Smith and Kyle Moddy rounded out the top five.

Qualifying heat race winners were Cannon, Smith, Schuchart and Snyder. Nyle Berks won the consolation race.
