HARRISBURG -- Indoor football is coming to York.

A new York franchise in American Indoor Football (AIF) will play at the York City Ice Arena beginning in Spring 2013.

An official announcement will be made Wednesday afternoon.

According to its website, AIF has eleven teams, including the Harrisburg Stampede, which is controlled by New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston.

Harrisburg played a regular season game earlier this year against the Virginia Badgers at the York City Ice Area.
