Erica Moffitt joined the WHP News
Team as a Reporter/Producer in June of 2005. Prior to her arrival at WHP,
Erica spent two and a half years at the NBC affiliate in Hagerstown,
Maryland, as a reporter and fill in anchor.
Erica is originally from West Hartford, Connecticut
where her parents still reside. She is a graduate of Dickinson College in
Carlisle. During her college years she interned in several newsrooms
including the CBS affiliate in Hartford, CT, CBS’ 48 Hours where she got the
chance to work with Dan Rather, Washingtonpost.com in Arlington, VA and for her first
internship, she worked right here at WHP.
When she's not
working, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband,
Derek, their family and friends, and also experimenting in
the kitchen with new recipes.
