Jaime Meyers joined the CBS 21 team in January 2007.
She grew up in Michigan and started her career on the
assignment desk of WKBD. She headed up north to Cadillac, MI for a chance to
move in front of the camera at WFQX. That also meant shooting all her own
video, editing, producing, reporting and anchoring.
Jaime's next stop was WSMH in Flint. That's where she earned
an Emmy nomination for her investigative report on heroin dealers targeting
kids at local schools. She also freelanced as a writer for WJBK in Detroit.
Jaime is a
graduate of the University of Michigan and loves to cheer
on the Wolverines, especially during football season.
She's also a loyal fan of Detroit sports, like the Red
Wings, Tigers and yes, even the Lions.
Traveling to a
new location is her favorite way to spend a vacation, and
she also loves to cook, sleep in late, and take her
English Bulldog for walks.
