Jaime Fettrow joined WHP-TV
as a sports anchor/reporter in April, 2005.
Jaime started her career at WENY-TV in Elmira, New York, as
the morning show anchor and general assignment reporter.
After 2 years, she moved one hour due east to anchor the
weekend newscasts and report on health issues at WBNG-TV in
Binghamton, New York.
Having enough of the cold and an urge to move south, Jaime
took a job at News 14 Carolina in Charlotte, North Carolina.
There, she was a general assignment reporter covering topics
from US Airways to the Hendrick Motorsports plane crash.
Finally, Jaime got the opportunity for a dream position. She
has the chance to report on her true passion: sports. She
played everything including basketball, volleyball, golf and
even bowling; Jaime's favorite sport to watch is football.
She could think of no better way to spend a fall weekend
than in front of the television watching games....unless, of
course, there's a good shoe sale somewhere!
Jaime is excited to call Pennsylvania home once again. She
graduated from Pennsylvania State University. There, she was
the university's first William Randolph Hearst Foundation
award winner. Though a native Floridan, Jaime considers
Pennsylvania her home away from home. She looks forward to
meeting people in the community and bringing you sports
stories featuring local athletes.
