During her career in Television broadcasting, Mrs.
Christian has earned numerous awards for reporting
excellence and community service. She has served on the
boards of many civic organizations including Goodwill
Industries, Girl Scouts, March of Dimes and United Way.
Mrs. Christian is also the President of the Autism
Society, Greater Harrisburg Area Chapter.
Mrs. Christian also finds time to
participate in professional organizations including the
National Association of Black Journalists and National
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and is a member of
the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
An avid sports fan, Mrs. Christian enjoys
watching Major League Baseball games, professional and
college football and basketball. And she doesn't mind
bragging about "playing a mean game of softball" herself.
Other hobbies include public speaking, and photography.
Mrs. Christian holds a bachelors degree in
Telecommunication from the University of Florida,
Gainesville. Sherry lives in Mechanicsburg with her
husband Jeremy and their three daughters.
