As
a Pennsylvania native, Angela Watson is glad to put her
roots down in Central PA. Angela anchors CBS 21 News
Saturday and Sunday Morning with meteorologist Paul Lynch.
Prior to joining CBS 21 News in June of 2004, Angela
worked as a reporter for KTVX-TV in Salt Lake City, Utah.
There, she covered many compelling stories including the
2002 Winter Olympic Games and the Elizabeth Smart
kidnapping. Before her move out west, she spent three
years anchoring and reporting in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Angela holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Temple
University with a minor in Political Science. Her
first job was reporting for a station in Kirksville,
Missouri. She lugged around 60 pounds of equipment,
shooting, editing and reporting all her own stories!
When Angela isn't working, she is playing trucks, dinosaurs,
or reading books--- with her two sons of course! Angela's
husband Doug is also in the business-- he is a Chief
Photojournalist at a television station in New Jersey.
