After years of traveling around the country to learn my craft, it has been great to end up in my own hometown. I am a graduate of Susquehanna Township High School in Dauphin County. From there, I went onto Penn State, where I learned my love for journalism and for the Nittany Lion's football team.

My first few jobs were in radio in Delaware and Clearfield, Pa. They were followed by a TV job in the deep south. My year in Greenville, Mississippi was perhaps one of my most exciting, though. Most often it was stories about racial tensions, with Jesse Jackson making frequent appearances to prepare for his Presidential campaign. Next, it was on to KTVE, Monroe, Louisiana followed by WPTZ in Plattsburgh New York.

My marriage to Bernard J. Morgan III took me back to Pennsylvania. There, I got my first newspaper job, working for the Bucks County Courier Times. When my husband finally got tired of the big city, I convinced him to try out my hometown. Also, a Penn Stater, he complied, knowing it would get him closer to those fall Penn State games.

For three years, I worked for Radio Pennsylvania, getting an up-close look at state politics. It was in 1994 that I joined WHP-TV. I have seen this station evolve over those many years, but this is perhaps our most exciting time with our management truly committed to making us a news team that serves the community--a community I grew up in and in which I am raising my three children--Nicole, Bernie, and Daniel.
