Ewa Roman joined the WHP
CBS21 News family on April 13, 2005 as a reporter/producer.
Prior to joining WHP, Ewa worked as a
reporter/producer/anchor for WETM-18 News in Elmira, New
York. Ewa graduated from University of South Florida in
Tampa with a Bachelor degree in Mass Communications. While
there, she was on the air as an intern for WFLA Channel 8,
C-View TV and WUSF TV. In addition, Ewa was published on
TBO.com and shared a front page story with a Tampa Tribune
staff writer. Ewa also founded the RTNDA Student
Chapter at USF.
Ewa was born in Gdansk, Poland and moved to Clearwater,
Florida when she was in elementary school. English is
her second language. She's fluent in Polish and understands
some Russian. Ewa received her American Citizenship in
July of 2000, so she could be able to vote.
Ewa has a twin brother, who is a rocket scientist for
NASA, as well as two other sisters. In her spare time, Ewa
enjoys reading, playing sports and sleeping.
