As a kid growing up in northern Dauphin County, I used to watch CBS 21 News. Now, I get to work here!
As Weekend Anchor, I enjoy the best of both worlds. On Saturdays and Sundays, I deliver breaking news from behind the anchor desk. On most other days, I'm out and about, reporting the biggest news stories, and meeting the great people of south central Pennsylvania.
Since joining the CBS 21 News Team four years ago, my most
memorable assignments have included two gubernatorial inaugurations, memorial dedications at the site of the Flight 93 crash in Shanksville, and covering the trial of a former local police corporal accused of accepting bribes from prostitutes.
Before making the switch to television, I spent three years as an Anchor/Reporter for WHP Talk Radio 580. My most memorable moments include reporting live from New York City on the one-week anniversary of 9/11, and being on the air the morning of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
I'm also the resident outdoorsman at CBS 21. Over the years, I've captured and tagged Canada Geese, tasted moose stew live on the air, and even collected eggs from live trout at a local hatchery!
I also like to stay involved with several community groups, including Communities That Care of Halifax and Lebanon, and Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties.
Outside of work, you'll find me spending time with my wife, Tara, and our dogs, Sunny and Emmy. I also enjoy hunting and fishing, and I spend most of my vacations on the beach.
I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to email me any time!
