Steve Knight delivers the First Warning Weather forecast
each weekday morning on CBS 21 News This Morning.
Steve joined the CBS 21 News team in January of 2002. He
studied Communications at both the Pennsylvania Broadcast
Institute and Millersville University. Steve began his
broadcasting career in 1988 as a radio personality in York.
Mr. Knight remained in radio until 1996 when he transitioned
into television reporting as the Operations Manager for the
Traffax Traffic Network in Harrisburg.
Over the years Steve has actively participated in improving
our community through donating his time and talents to
causes like the American Diabetes Association, Junior
Achievement, the American Red Cross, and the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society. Mr. Knight also serves as a board member
of the New Cumberland Youth Baseball Association.
As a Central Pennsylvania native, Steve loves the
challenges that come with forecasting the diverse weather
conditions right here at home.
Steve passionately follows his favorite sports teams
(Go Phillies!) and as a father of two boys, he enjoys
spending a lot of his free time coaching their youth
baseball and soccer teams. |
