Tanya Foster joined WHP-TV in January of 2008. Prior to her
employment with WHP, Tanya was Morning anchor and reporter
for KXXV-TV, the ABC station in Waco, Texas and then took on
the additional duties of Mid-day anchor as well. Prior to
her work at KXXV-TV Tanya served as a morning and midday
anchor at KAUZ-TV, the CBS affiliate in Wichita Falls,
Texas.
Born and raised in Texas, Tanya received her Bachelor of Arts in
Broadcast Journalism from Texas State University in San
Marcos. Outside of her journalism work, Tanya uses her
knowledge of sign language to volunteer in the deaf
community where she enjoys signing stories to children. She
is also actively involved in raising awareness of animal
abuse and neglect, breast cancer and literacy.
Tanya, along with her husband Ben and their three dogs (Dixie,
Daisy and Dora) enjoy traveling, reading and spending time
with their Texas-sized family including seven nephews and
one niece.

an amazing part of the country,” says Tanya. “My husband's
family has made Central Pennsylvania home for many years and
we are so blessed to finally have the opportunity to make it
our home."
