HARRISBURG -- It's been more than a football field. It's also been a gateway to greatness.

Bishop McDevitt (9-0) will play its final regular season game ever at its high school field -- affectionately called 'The Rockpile' -- on Saturday morning against Palmyra (0-9).

The Rockpile has produced many players that have gone onto play in the National Football League, namely Ricky Watters, LeSean McCoy, and Aaron Berry.

"You almost can't put it into words," said quarterback Alec Werner of playing at the field for the final time.

McDevitt is moving to a new building with a stadium later this year.

"We have great memories here; since my freshman year," said wide receiver Brian Lemelle. "Hopefully, to close it out with an undefeated season; (that) would be great for us."
