When you walk into JPL in Swatara Township, Dauphin county -- you're immediately reminded of Google - a company known for it's fun and creative environment.

Human Resources Director, Melissa Echaverria says, "I think we are a little Silicon Valley right here in the Harrisburg region. It's nothing for us to come in and see dogs in the office, flip flops, even kids running around so definitely we have a really unique vibe."

Echevarria has been a pretty busy worker at JPL lately - hiring more people in January of 2012 alone, than in all of 2010 - and they're not done.

They have positions on their production team with Creative Event Producers and a Creative Producer. They're also hiring for their Learning Solutions Team with a Production Designer Product Manager.

It's no wonder JPL was voted one of the best places to work in PA for 10 straight years.
They hold their meetings in areas called "The Sushi Room" and "The Chapel Room" and their offices look like Discos. But it all comes together as a strategy, creative, production and technology communications company all under one roof.
They work hard and they play hard -- and if you're looking for work -- they want your creative mind.
But, you will be joining a staff that is always willing to push to the next level, because you're going to have to impress their list of clients who also won't settle for just good enough.

Regarding the comment: " ...hiring more people in January of 2012 alone, than in all of 2010..." The readers should also note that in fall of 2009, 10 employees were "laid off" by JPL (approximately 10% of the employees at that time). And during the year 2010, the company imposed a "hiring freeze". So although the statement may be correct, it is very misleading in painting such a rosy picture of the company. I know. I was there.
