HERSHEY -- Wilkes-Barre Scranton scored three times on special teams en route to a 4-0 shutout win over the Hershey Bears on Wednesday night at GIANT Center.

After the game, Capitals coach Adam Oates and his assistants left Hershey to return to Washington, according to the Capitals' website. Oates had been serving as Hershey's co-coach, along with Mark French.

The Bears got themselves into penalty trouble at the start of the second period. Beau Bennett struck first for the Penguins at 4:28 and defenseman Simon Despres snapped a shot past a screened Holtby for a 2-0 lead on the Penguins’ second consecutive power play of the period.

Benn Ferriero beat Braden Holtby with a short-handed goal off of Holtby 's glove just 1:03 into the final period for a 3-0 lead.

Holtby turned aside 26 shots and fell to 4-6-0 on the season.
