HERSHEY, Pa. - The Norfolk Admirals scored three first period goals and held off a late comeback by the Hershey Bears to win a 4-3 shootout decision Sunday at GIANT Center.
The Admirals won the shootout on a tally by Luca Caputi to earn an extra point.
Ryan Potulny led the way for Hershey with two third-period goals and helped the Bears pick up a much-needed point. Barry Almeida netted the Bears' other goal in the final period.
Hershey was 0-4 on the power play.
