HERSHEY - The Hershey Bears have signed forward Jon Kalinski to an American Hockey League contract for the 2012-2013 season.

Kalinski, 25, split last season between the AHL's Adirondack Phantoms and Norfolk Admirals. In 40 games with Adirondack, Kalinski recorded 12 points (nine goals, three assists) and 18 penalty minutes.

He was acquired by the Tampa Bay Lightning on February 18 and appeared in five games for Norfolk before missing the remainder of the season due to injury.

Kalinski was originally selected by Philadelphia in the sixth round (152nd overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He has appeared in 22 NHL games with the Flyers.
