Bears defeat Admirals 2-1 at Verizon Center

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Evan Barlow and Ryan Potulny each scored to help the Hershey Bears defeat the Norfolk Admirals 2-1 on Thursday at the Washington AHL Showcase at Verizon Center.

Potulny had the game-winner on a one-timer at 4:26 of the third period.

Norfolk's Brandon McMillan scored just 10 seconds into the contest to give the Admirals a 1-0 lead. Barlow tied the game later in the first period.

The game was seen by a sellout crowd of 18,506.
