Lebanon's Ben Witter fighting cancer; featured on 'The Early Show'

LEBANON, Pa. -- Lebanon County's Ben Witter, best known in the golf world as the Tiger Woods of trick shots, and his battle with cancer was featured Wednesday on CBS' "The Early Show."

Witter had dreams of playing on the PGA Tour until his diagnosis of salivary gland cancer. His bout with cancer is not his family's only concern: Witter's 16-year-old daughter Gabbie has been battling bone cancer, as well.

"The Early Show" became aware of his story after CBS 21 News Sports Director Jason Bristol aired a report on Witter and his family in October.

Ben is currently undergoing a new, experimental type of treatment for his tumors. Gabbie recently finished her chemotherapy.
