HERSHEY -- The Hershey Bears are returning to the nation's capital.
The Bears will face the Syracuse Crunch on February 23, 2014 in the second-ever Washington AHL Showcase at Verizon Center, the Washington Capitals announced.
Hershey, the Capitals' top farm team, defeated the Norfolk Admirals, 2-1, in the 2012 AHL Showcase last December in front of a sold-out crowd of 18,506.
Syracuse is an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
