NEW YORK (AP) - It's down to one game again for the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Both teams survived deciding games in the first round. The top-seeded Rangers completed a rally from a 3-2 series hole to knock out the Ottawa Senators at home, and the Capitals outlasted the defending Stanley Cup champion Bruins.

Now the Capitals and Rangers will face off one more time on Saturday night to determine who will face the well-rested New Jersey Devils in the Eastern Conference finals. With a two-day break before the winner-take-all matchup, the clubs stayed off the ice on Thursday to try to get a little rest from the tense series.

All but one of the first six games have been decided by one goal.
